    We went for the corny and old school fun: kids, face painting, crafts, food trucks with MSG and bouncy blow up haunted houses. We really were excited for the yacht parade where they decorated the boats with Halloween lights and then had a boat race. But it was basically rich drunk people on their boats with purple lights screaming through the harbor. They didn't even circle back. Very sad display. Clearly the fun was being drunk in the boat so next year we will stay at home with our own whiskey and purple lights. But the harbor and park are lovely. Great little community in Oxnard.
