  I’m a caretaker for an 80 year old Veteran and today 2/26/26 I was driving my resident to a Karaoke show he runs for a senior citizen community located across the street. Well, “Larry’s” Tahoe started overheating and upon looking under the hood, the bottom of the water tank has a crack and it was spilling out water. We had no choice but to have to replace it in the parking lot. Now, Larry has lost his vision due to cataracts and I’m not very helpful in this area. Upon arrival your Associate named Gerald helped Larry with replacing the water tank. With Larry’s instructions and Gerald’s tool kit that was in his car, he got us back home! Service like this deserves the highest praise. God Bless Gerald for helping us. I honestly don’t even know what we would have had to do without Gerald’s outstanding service and representation of Auto Zone. Now, we know he’s not a mechanic, however, with his eyes and Larry’s instructions, he followed directions to a T! Gerald went above and beyond his duties to help us and I thought it was important to not only praise him on a job well done, but to let the company know what an excellent employee you have.   This feedback is for Store #02895. Unfortunately, the manager provided very poor customer service during my return. Throughout the transaction, I felt I was being treated differently because I am a woman, which came across as sexist and unprofessional, especially disappointing coming from a woman working in an auto parts store. The part was purchased with my card, accompanied by my mechanic, and it was not used. Therefore, it was appropriate for me to return it. Gender should have no bearing on how a customer is treated. I hope AutoZone holds its managers to a higher standard and considers additional customer service training to ensure all customers are treated with respect and professionalism.
