Throughout the transaction, I felt I was being treated differently because I am a woman, which came across as sexist and unprofessional, especially disappointing coming from a woman working in an auto parts store. The part was purchased with my card, accompanied by my mechanic, and it was not used. Therefore, it was appropriate for me to return it. Gender should have no bearing on how a customer is treated. I hope AutoZone holds its managers to a higher standard and considers additional customer service training to ensure all customers are treated with respect and professionalism.

The most recent experience being that I was frustrated my battery died in a distant parking lot in another town. It was at night time and very cold out and after an hour and 1/2 or so, someone charged it. I was told the battery was bad. I drove to the Orangevale auto zone right away to purchase a new battery. The manager Zack was extremely helpful in helping me find the right battery and also installing it for me. It was extremely cold out but with a smile, he was willing to go outside to help me out by putting the new battery in. I'm so thankful for this store and their friendly staff members! I give it 5 stars and an 11 (on a scale of 1-10!) 😊
