  Helpful on the front end of our rental experience and then after my wife's wallet was left in the car Charlie and George were quick to rectify the situation and met my stress with kindness.

  What a nightmare. Unfortunately the online system allowed my friend to book a 2pm pickup, but when we arrived at the Enterprise in Redlands at 2pm, they were closed. Customer service had long call times, and their team seemed to struggle with researching our reservation information. We drove to Ontario airport, which was the only Hertz open, and because customer service had assured us they had the same luxury sedan. They did not! The gentleman at the counter, suggested we try Alimo, because they share a fleet. And of course the lady at Alimo thought it would be helpful to say, "That's why you shouldn't do things last minute." Just wow... My friend reserved the car a week before pickup! Not that it wasn't stressful enough that the car was for her daughter's Prom. The kids were so looking forward to being driven to Prom in nice vehicle. I kept asking around at different desks to see if there were any other options, and the only helpful people at airport were the ladies at the Hertz desk; those three lovely ladies were empathetic and tried to help us find a solution. I'll be taking my future business to Hertz, whose customer service team cares, and based in this experience, it seems like that's a rare thing to find in the car rental industry.

  Everything went well. The only thing I didn't appreciate was no one was around when I dropped my rental off. Wouldn't be an issue except I didn't feel too safe in the dark waiting for a charter to come with no signs of when or if they would actually come.
