  ​I rented a truck from Penske for 3 days, but due to delays, the process ended up taking 5 days. I fully paid for all 5 days. When returning the vehicle (which we originally picked up at 11:00 AM on Friday), we arrived at 11:20 AM—a minor delay of 20 minutes. ​Upon arrival, we informed the staff about the 20-minute delay, and they initially told us it was not an issue. However, after the vehicle was returned, they charged me for an entire extra day solely because of those 20 minutes. Additionally, after telling me they would charge $311, they unfairly added an extra $18 to my bill without proper explanation. When I respectfully refused to accept these unfair charges, the employee launched a personal and discriminatory attack against me. ​The employee openly insulted my religion and nationality, stating that "Turks and Muslims are the worst in the world, and Turks are the worst among them." ​Experiencing such blatant racism, discrimination, financial misconduct, and disrespect from an employee representing Penske is completely unacceptable. A reputable company should never tolerate staff who overcharge and harass customers based on their ethnic and religious identity. I demand an immediate refund for the extra charges, a full review of this incident, and appropriate disciplinary action against the employee involved.

  Horrible experience. Only one person working, it took 45 mins for me to get my truck and they’re were only two people in front of me. On top of that they ran out of trucks and had to get me a different truck then I booked because for some reason their Scarborough location is doing the bookings and paperwork for this location and they don’t know what they actually have in stock here. Ridiculous all around

  If I could leave a negative review, I would. We booked it for 10:30am, but the truck was ready only an hour later....Horrible hours, told us to come back before 4 pm on the day the truck was rented, as he forgot to give us the driver's license back. We returned the truck at 3:30pm, they already closed the store... Later on, received the bill, they charged us damage fees while nothing was damaged by us however the damages were noted on the sheet prior to us taking the truck and the representative assured us that we won't be charged for preexisting damage. Tried disputing but the call center kept on sending us back to the location... The truck was advertised with the rear view camera. Guess what? The truck was older than my grandma and the camera was non existent. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION OR THIS COMPANY, PERIOD!

  I’ve been working with Penske more so Chris out of Toronto for over the last month and couldn’t be happier with the service he’s provided and how quickly he will answer and get something done. I work in XM and most of our brand ambassadors need rentals and Chris is my go too! Highly recommend working with Chris and his team, the customer service is impeccable and they will go above and beyond.
