  I understand that any used vehicle can have unexpected issues from time to time that’s simply part of buying a pre-owned car. What really matters is how a dealership stands behind its customers when those situations arise. My experience with Need A Car has been positive in that regard. Whenever concerns came up, the team was approachable, professional, and willing to work toward a solution rather than avoiding the issue. They took the time to listen, communicate clearly, and provide support throughout the process. No dealership can guarantee that a used vehicle will never have a problem, but based on how Need A Car handled the situation and supported me afterward, I believe they genuinely care about customer satisfaction. For that reason, I would feel comfortable recommending them to others looking for a vehicle.

  We had the worst car-buying experience ever at Need A Car, Thunder Bay Memorial. We went to check out a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander, and the car was in very bad shape. They said they could get it safetied, so we waited a week. When we test drove it, after just two minutes, we heard a loud noise from the front right side. The backing plate was damaged, and even though they said they’d fix it, it was still bad. The car was rusted, and there was no way it could pass safety. We walked away, completely disappointed. I would never go back.

  Worst experience!! This was the first car I've ever owned, and it completely ruined the experience for me. I bought my car from Need A Car just 3 months ago, and within 2 months it developed a coolant leak into the engine. It's now been sitting in the garage for 3 weeks while I wait for answers. When I bought the car, they highly recommended getting the warranty, so I did. Now that the engine has failed, I'm still being told I could have to pay around $7,000 out of my own pocket after the warranty. They also suggested putting in a used engine but said the same problem could happen again, so either ways I'm stuck with a huge expense. The staff were very friendly when I purchased the car and even mentioned things like free car washes, but that doesn't make up for having such a major issue after only a couple of months. My mechanic told me it's possible this issue may have existed before I bought the car, but I have no way of knowing for sure. Regardless, having such a serious engine problem so soon after purchase has been incredibly disappointing. I was so excited to buy my first car, but instead I've been left stressed, disappointed, and without a vehicle. Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying from Need A Car.
