We have been loyal customers for years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Yesterday, my husband purchased two new trailer tires for our dump trailer. After loading one load of gravel, he didn't even make it home before one of the brand-new tires blew out. He returned to the store within just a couple of hours of purchasing the tires, expecting the defective tire to be replaced. Instead, we were told they had removed the tire from the rim and determined it failed because the trailer was allegedly overloaded. Rather than standing behind the product or offering any goodwill, the salesperson tried to sell us a heavier-duty replacement tire at full price. After years of supporting this business, we expected much better customer service. A brand-new tire should not fail after a single trip, and the way this situation was handled was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this business. Thumbs down.

I was moving about 16 hours away to Southern ON but forgot my tires in storage the day before I was planning to move (Saturday). Fountain tire is closed on weekends but they have an after hours number for roadside emergencies. By the kindness of the operator and the on call tech Quin, they were able to put something together so I could get my tires before moving. Fountain tire really goes above and beyond for their customers and I couldn’t be more grateful!! Thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
