I’m extremely happy with the service at Assured Body Shop. They repaired my Mercedes in only 2 days, and the results are incredible — the car looks like new again. They also took the extra step to clean my car, which I really appreciated. The customer service was amazing — very responsive, professional, and easy to deal with. My experience with Assured Automotive at 7200 Yonge St. has been nothing unbelievably disappointing. I dropped off my vehicle on January 23rd, and more than five weeks later, they have not completed a single repair—because they failed to properly order the required parts in the first place.
What makes this situation even worse is the complete lack of communication and accountability. Every time I asked for an update, I was met with vague, recycled excuses and absolutely no clarity. They couldn’t confirm when the parts were ordered, whether they were ordered correctly, or when anything would arrive. It’s as if they had no control over their own process.
Because of their disorganization, my insurance‑covered rental car has now maxed out. I’m left with no choice but to rely on public transit. A commute that normally takes me 30 minutes by car has turned into a 1 hour and 30 minute ordeal each way. That means I’m wasting 3 hours every single day sitting on buses—time I would never have lost if Assured Automotive had simply done their job.
Meanwhile, my car has been sitting untouched in their shop for over a month, and I’m still paying for the lease on a vehicle I can’t even use. Not once did they take ownership of the situation or offer any meaningful solution. No proactive updates, no urgency, no professionalism.
This has been one of the most frustrating and poorly handled service experiences I’ve ever had. The lack of organization, communication, and basic competence at this location is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this shop unless you’re prepared for endless delays and zero accountability.
