Def agree with the other reviewers on the customer service... Old woman at the counter was actively hostile before I said anything to her. The male employee that came in after the woman was even worse.
It was not like anywhere else I've been. I got here 11pm Aug 25.

This fuel station is a disaster. There is always at least one fuel lane that isn’t working, and at the time of writing this post, 3 out of 6 lanes are out of service. Trucks are waiting to get in, sometimes even lined up onto the street. In 90% of cases, either there is no DEF available or it’s only available at one or two lanes. The building is extremely old, and it looks like everything is slowly falling apart. It definitely needs to be renovated.

This location is a disgrace to the Pilot Flying J name.
Stayed here for a 36 hour reset. I won’t do that again.
Only 2 out of 6 fueling lanes were working. The layout is dangerous, having a line up of trucks waiting to fuel backed-up onto the highway.
The building incredibly run down and in desperate need of a renovation and repair.
Showers were of questionable cleanliness, and when I tried to ask for one, I was told they ran out of water. The Pilot app also says this location doesn’t have showers.
The drivers lounge felt like I time-traveled back to the 1970’s. The only TV they had was an old CRT tube tv, and no local channels to watch to get weather, News and wild fire updates.
There also no wi-fi here.
There was once a restaurant here, but it’s closed down and is being used for storage.
There’s no decent hot food except for 2 small snacks.
The location is too far away to order food to be delivered from Thunder Bay.
0/10. This location is only good to get fuel and leave.

I have been to many truck stops in the last 10 years as my son is a trucker and I frequently go along with him. We've been to all the chains, and then some, and I thought I'd seen the worst - till now!! There were only 2 fueling lanes open out of 6. Trucks had to line up for over 30 minutes to get fuel. The physical site is not laid out to accommodate a backlog of trucks. You couldn't just stay in line. You had to go around and reposition, then someone would take your spot! This is also burnt up driving time for many drivers.
We've had good experiences at other Flying Js, so my son selected this one for his 36-hour driving time reset.
We were hungry. Nothing hot to eat except tornados and hot dogs. Only Flying J we've ever seen like this. Most have pizza, and a good variety of snacks like chicken fingers, etc. Also, this one is so far out of town, no one would deliver food here. We tried. No food outlets close by. In that respect, it's even more important that they have a good supply and variety of food available. This location, at one time, had a restaurant but it is now closed. The outlet hasn't adapted to that closure.
The washrooms are way too small for the volume of people/drivers using it. Most facilities have 8 stalls plus stand up facilities for men. This had just 2 and 2. Not enough. Another big line-up.
The showers were dodgy, so we decided to wait a day and see if they got cleaned up. They may have, but we were told the showers were now out of service due to a pumping problem not getting water to the 2nd floor.
The driver's lounge - the one couch was ok, but the 1970's TV needs replacing. No local channels/News. Distant city channels and Kids channels. It's a Driver's lounge. Bad, especially with the wild fires in progress in this area. Drivers need current updates - not Seattle weather and cartoons.
The staff were friendly enough, but this establishment needs a severe readjustment in order to start properly taking care of the professionals it's here for.
You have to get your act together. Except for maybe a fuel stop, my son will never stop here ever again for an overnight stay and especially not for a reset.
