- ANAhmed NawazJul 21, 20261.0One of the worst customer service experiences I have had with any business. I paid approximately $450 to have my vehicle tinted at Tint World Pickering. What should have been a straightforward appointment turned into four separate trips, roughly 10–12 hours of lost time, repeated communication failures, and tint work that still has bubbles and unfinished areas. My first appointment was confirmed for Friday, June 26 at 11:30 a.m. I drove approximately 40 minutes to the location, only to find the doors locked and nobody there. No one had contacted me to cancel or explain the situation. I later learned that the installer had injured his finger and gone to the hospital. I completely understand that emergencies happen. What I do not understand is why nobody notified a scheduled customer before I drove all the way there. After calling the store, I was told the installer might return within 20 minutes. While I waited, two employees arrived, opened the store, and then left to get coffee. Neither knew that I had an appointment, what service I was receiving, or whether the installer was returning. I eventually left. The appointment was rescheduled for Saturday. Once again, the front staff did not know what vehicle I had, what service I booked, or what tint percentage I wanted. After waiting about 30 minutes, I had to walk into the shop and explain the job directly to the installer. The installer was the only positive part of this experience. He was professional, apologetic, and clearly tried to recover a situation caused by poor management and a disorganized front-of-house operation. I was told the vehicle would take about three hours. Syed, who also goes by Mehdi, later texted me and asked me to return around 3:30 p.m. I gave the shop an extra hour and arrived at 4:30 p.m., but the vehicle was still not ready. I did not receive it until around 6:00 p.m. At pickup, I was told the rear windshield could not be completed properly and that I would need to return again. When I came back on Tuesday at the time Syed/Mehdi instructed, neither he nor the installer was there. The front staff again had no idea why I was there. After waiting more than 30 minutes, the installer called me from his personal phone and directed me to another shop across the street so he could finish the work. I also had to repeatedly ask for a receipt. After several follow-ups, I was sent an estimate instead of a proper paid receipt. It did not confirm that my $450 payment had been received. Despite all these visits, the rear windshield still has bubbles and parts of the tint remain unfinished. I now need to pay another shop to correct the work because I no longer trust this location with my vehicle. I escalated the matter to John Marsh, Senior Director of Franchise Services at Tint World Franchise HQ. John responded and confirmed that corporate could not issue a refund because only the franchise location could do so. John copied the Pickering location and Syed/Mehdi and specifically asked him to contact me regarding my request for a full refund. Syed/Mehdi did not respond. John later confirmed that he had also received no response, followed up again on my behalf, and advised that contacting my credit card company might be my only remaining option. I originally planned to bring two additional vehicles to Tint World. That business is now gone. The biggest issue was not the installer. It was the complete lack of communication, organization, accountability, and response from Syed/Mehdi and the management of Tint World Pickering. Based on my experience and speaking to other customers who were in the store, I cannot recommend this location. Stay far away.

- CGChris GreentreeJun 10, 20261.0Unfortunately I have to say customer service has gone downhill very much so. Had audio done on my truck a couple years back, no complaints there. However, had an incident happen with my car audio, called to give them my business again and was told someone would reach out, no one ever did. Called multiple times following that, same thing. Went to the store, met with installer and person at front desk, discussed what would be needed and was told I would be called with appointment date and quote, again, nothing. Two months of trying to get things figured out and no help at all. Extremely frustrating and to be quite honest, a huge waste of my time. I used to recommend these guys to everyone I knew but moving forward I can’t say that I will. Highly disappointing.
