  I rented a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado from Enterprise Truck Rental in Peterborough, Ontario. I want to begin by saying that the staff at the Peterborough branch were excellent. They were professional, courteous, and genuinely tried to help. My complaint is not with the local branch it is with Enterprise’s corporate roadside assistance procedures. While on one of my commercial job sites, the truck’s key fob became locked inside the vehicle while it was still running. All the doors were locked, leaving me unable to access the truck. This wasn’t just an inconvenience I had a concrete pour underway, subcontractors waiting, and equipment locked inside. Every minute of delay was costing me time and money. I called the Peterborough branch and was told they didn’t have a spare key. I was then transferred to Roadside Assistance but was mistakenly sent to the car rental division. After explaining everything, I was transferred again to the truck division and had to repeat the entire story. Once I reached the correct department, I was told I was in a dispatch queue but couldn’t be given an estimated arrival time or any contact information for the service provider. I was simply told to wait. I then called the Peterborough branch back and asked why they couldn’t use OnStar to remotely unlock the truck. At first, I was told they weren’t supposed to do that. After I insisted, the branch manager contacted OnStar, and within two minutes the truck was remotely unlocked. My question is simple: why wasn’t that the first solution? Instead, I was transferred between departments, repeated my story multiple times, and lost valuable time on a busy job site while a simple solution already existed. Again, this is not a complaint about the Peterborough staff. They were professional and ultimately solved the problem. My concern is with Enterprise’s corporate policies, which created unnecessary delays for an issue that could have been resolved in minutes. Enterprise should empower its employees to use available technology like OnStar immediately instead of forcing customers through unnecessary bureaucracy.

  Peter & Jason were really great to deal with. They were attentive to our needs and communicated with us throughout the whole process. Our need for renting the truck was due to an unplanned change in circumstances and had some complicated factors and Peter & Jason worked with us to help us of a difficult situation. I would highly recommend Enterprise Truck Rentals

  Recently used this location for an insurance rental. Had the pleasure to work with Chris. His customer service was so exceptional I had to leave a review. Checkout process was quick and seamless, which was appreciated given the stress of going through an insurance process. I had an issue with the vehicle, and he went above and beyond to swap it out with one that suited me better. He then followed up several times to make sure everything was good to go. Very happy with the experience overall.
