- RCRobert Christine CharetteAug 12, 20264.0Update - the owner of this location has since been in touch and provided us with proper customer service following the incident. *********** I have been going to Great Canadian Oil Change for a long time, but it was my first time going to the location on Pince of Wales in Ottawa. During the oil change everything was good, but a few days later I noticed and issue with my air conditioner. My husband noticed that we had water pooling at our feet in the passenger seat and he said that this could be because our drain is plugged. When he looked under the car he found a ratchet extender was jammed into the AC drain. We think they did this while they were working in order to avoid water dripping, which is not an issue. However since they forgot to remove it, it caused water to build up because it could no longer drain. I called and spoke to a manager and they didn't seem to care at all. I just want to warn others so that if they have the same issue, they can quickly check under their vehicle and remove the tool. We had to replace our cabin filter because it was completely water logged. The manager didn't even offer any apologies or any rebates for future visits. I will never be going back to that location, poor customer service 100%.

Sorry to have been a wreck emotionally but the staff was lovely. Thanks to the sympathetic young woman who checked me in & cashed me out who listened to me ramble about my sick father. Appreciated it! ❤️
