Great rates and service. I let the attendant know I was disappointed in cleanliness upon pickup. The center console had something split in it and it was not properly cleaned. He mentioned his manager would follow up and got crickets.

Emerald club membership meant a swift and convenient experience at the airport for collection of our vehicle. I was impressed how hassle free and straightforward the process was. I will certainly use National again in the future.

Thanks to National, I wasn't stranded. My car booking with another provider closed it's doors at midnight at Toronto airport. My flight was delayed 4 hours, so got me to the counters at 1:30am. Canceled my other booking and reserved online with National from the plane. Thank you National for staying open to 2am at YYZ.

After a long flight into Toronto Pearson terminal 1, it was a pleasure to be met by Muna in the garage, who was very pleasant, smiling, helpful and looked after us with the car we hired, giving us instructions on how to use the sat nav in the Mercedes SUV. It made the whole process of hiring from National a pleasure under a usual stressful situation. She is an ambassador for the company and should be recognised for her service.

Absolutely outstanding car hire experience from start to finish. The car was absolutely perfect — stunning to drive, incredibly comfortable and such a pleasure throughout our trip. The collection and return process couldn’t have been easier. Everything was straightforward, efficient and completely stress-free, which made such a difference after a long journey. A special shoutout to Sam, the manager, who was absolutely fantastic when we arrived. He took the time to show us around the car and explain a few of the quirks and features that we weren’t used to coming from European cars. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable before setting off. The whole experience was exceptional, and after such a brilliant rental, we’ll actively seek out National whenever we need to hire a car in the future — wherever in the world we’re travelling. Thank you to the whole team, and especially Sam, for making the experience so easy and enjoyable. Five stars really don’t do it justice!
