FILM CREWS BEWARE! Avoid this location at all costs. We rented a cube truck for a shoot and returned it on time. The next day they told us a mud flap had been tagged with graffiti. Six weeks later we got a $1,000 bill for a laundry list of "damage" nobody mentioned when we returned the truck, including an entire side of it that doesn't appear in a single one of their own photos. We asked for the most basic proof: what the truck looked like when we picked it up, and where it went after we dropped it off. The odometer on their own repair estimate showed over 100 km more than when we brought it back. Four months of emails, and not one answer. Just "the dispute is concluded," followed by threats to send it to collections and wreck the credit of the crew member who signed for the truck. There are some extremely shady things happening here. It looks like they saw a small production as an easy mark, figured we wouldn't fight back, and decided to cash in. If you work in film and need a truck, go anywhere else. If you have no choice, photograph every inch of it at pickup and return, because they will bill you for damage they can't prove.
