- HHHarpreet Arora (Harps)4 days ago2.0I want to preface this by saying the customer service, tone, and overall demeanor of the staff here were fantastic. They were incredibly nice and polite. However, from an operational and convenience standpoint, this visit was a total failure. I brought my first vehicle (a BMW) in and didn't wait long at all. They pulled it into the bay, did a thorough check of the headlights, rear lights, and general components, and then checked their computer only to realize they didn’t have the correct oil in stock for another four days. They were very nice about it, so I didn't mind. Before leaving, I explicitly asked the technician if I could bring in my other vehicle—a GMC Denali. He assured me they had the oil for it and told me to bring it right in. I drove all the way home, swapped cars, drove all the way back, and waited another 10 minutes for a bay. They pulled the GMC in, did the exact same physical light and wiper checks, entered it into the computer, and then told me there was an engine recall. They stated it would cost about $800 if they did the service and recommended I take it to the dealership instead. My issue isn't with the advice to go to the dealership—that was honest and appreciated. My issue is with the complete lack of efficiency. If your computer system flags vehicle-specific constraints or recalls, why did the staff not check the GMC in the computer when I explicitly asked about it before driving all the way home? I brought two separate cars to this location today, and both were sent away after physical checks were already completed. The great attitude of the staff doesn't change the fact that this was a massive waste of my time. Next time, I will just book directly with the dealership where I know the job will actually get done.
