brought my car in was told it would take 7 days they booked it in 2 weeks later (july 23) at this time they stated 11 days i said ok but would need it back by the 11 days i waited no information was given to me in the 11 days on the 11th day i phone in to inquire on my car it was at this time i was told it required another 14 days considering it was just a trailer hitch and bumper 30 days to fix is unacceptable .will update if it takes even longer
update:thank you goggle review after posting i got my car back 3 days after post. and even had the manager ask me to delete my post. I explained to the manager that because of his shop not communicating in 11 days on the status of my car that was unprofessional as i should have been notified of the additional damage and time it would take so i could have the choice of getting a rental or not that 2 weeks was already pushing how long i could go without transportation and that because i was the owner then i had every right to know about any work to be done

DO NOT walk, RUN from Assured Automotive Kingston
If I could give zero stars, I would. Even if your insurance agent recommends them, do not let Assured Autobody touch your car.
The front desk staff is genuinely great — that’s the only positive thing I can say. Everything else was a disaster from start to finish.
I was promised weekly updates from a service advisor throughout the repair. The only call I had was from office staff about the procedure, time etc before the work began, not one call after that!
The workmanship is horrible, and that’s being generous. They ruined my car aesthetically. The bumper isn’t even flush with the rest of the vehicle — when I brought it back to get it fixed, all they told me was “unfortunately it does not align.” That was it. No further explanation, no attempt to make it right, nothing.
The fuel door doesn’t align properly either, and the work done behind the fuel door is genuinely hideous — it looks like it was slapped together in a barn, not by a professional body shop.
I trusted them with my car and got sloppy, careless work and zero communication in return. Save yourself the headache and the disappointment. Run from this place. Don’t even go near Assured Automotive Kingston.

I went to Assured to get an estimate on damaged paint. The estimator wanted the paint employee to look at it. He took me around to the paint area and within an hour of tough scraping and buffering he had it looking like new. Brand new. Great job, well done! I owe him a beer for that! Cheers!

My wife’s 2024 Kia Forte was struck by another individual several months ago. We’re American and we’re visiting Canada for a ski trip. The other individual’s insurance was covering the wreck due to obvious fault. Unfortunately, no shops back home would take our vehicle due to Canadian insurance. We elected to take the vehicle to whatever the closest shop to us there was. That was Assured automotive in Kingston. To make a long story short, they were incredible. The customer service, flexibility due to our situation, and quality of work was superior. My wife’s car looks brand new!
