- BDBISWANATH DEHURYMay 24, 20261.0This is about my recent experience of changing tires here. Two guys took care of my tire change, Arshalan and Akshay. First of all, why would you guys open the engine bay for a tire change. If you are so generous, then do some wheel balancing and stuff. But you had to check engine components and then upsell air filter and all. They charged 35 cad for an air filter which must be 20-25 in retail. I understand this is how you are supposed to make money, but you can at least be honest and straight while doing it. Then I asked to check the battery, since the bay was open. The battery analyser shows Battery health 100%, charge 55% and two other c-rate parameters I think. I said it looks OK since health is 100%. Arshalan is like it is degrading. Dude, battery degrades like everything and everyone, like you and me. What do you mean ? He says it is 55% and it will go down. I said it is the charge % and it will go up and down like any other battery charge. Then he is like do you have any experience and those condescending looks like I know nothing about batteries. Probably his plan of upselling a battery didn’t work and it upset him. My friend, who was with me just asked, then please explain us what is battery health % and what is battery charge? Their response was like “cut the crap and leave and dont come back here”. LOL, they thought we were planning to come back to their shop again!! TLDR; be careful and very specific when you are visiting this shop. We had a really bad experience with upselling. Good part is they are mostly available, which makes sense.
