TL;DR - Long wait, one employee was unkind and dismissive, but another staff member was professional and helpful—overall a mixed experience.
My parents rented a car from Enterprise at the airport and were advised that we could visit any other location to add their children to the insurance, as we were planning a long drive.
The first location we visited in Guelph was unable to assist us because their manager was not available, so we were directed to this branch. When we arrived, one employee was assisting a customer outside, and we waited inside. We rang the bell once and then waited an additional 10 minutes. After already spending the morning trying to resolve this, the wait was understandably frustrating but we were still in good spirits.
When another employee eventually came out from the back, instead of greeting us or apologizing for the delay, he remarked, “a little patience guys.” This was dismissive and unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy.
That said, the other employee who returned from assisting a customer outside was kind, respectful, and helpful. We appreciated his professionalism.
Overall, the experience was mixed, but the lack of professionalism from one staff member left a negative impression.
