  After we booked the car, the evening before pickup we received a voicemail from the rental office at 6:00pm saying that the car was not available. The office closed at 6:00pm, so when we called back, they were already closed. Calling us at 6:00pm, when we were supposed to pick up the car the next morning, just to tell us there was no car available - and not even offering any alternative or solution - is incredibly poor customer service

  I've used this place before with ease, even as a walk-in from the autobody business across the street from them. If you call it seems you end up directed to the call center. Make sure you ask the call center to verify there is a car for you. I was caught in an emergency and reserved a car for 10:30 am over the phone only to arrive and be told there were none available until 3:00 pm. I get it, computer system number can be incorrect and delayed. The call center needs to personally verify what they are reserving. I couldn't wait. Was told to check the location on Plains road. Which the call center could screw that up. So after a second unnecessary Uber ride I went to Avis.
