  I’ve been a customer of Tommy’s Express Car Wash on Maritime Ontario Blvd for over three months, and overall I’ve had a good experience. The car wash itself is really good and does a great job cleaning the car. The mat washing machine is probably my favourite feature. It’s a very useful addition and something you don’t see at every car wash. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Every time I’ve visited, they have been polite and welcoming, which definitely makes the experience better. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because a few of the vacuum stations have been out of service for a few months. With the colder weather coming, having enough working vacuum stations will become even more important. It can already be difficult to find an available spot when it gets busy, and I can see this becoming a bigger issue during the upcoming weather when more people will want to clean the inside of their cars. Other than the vacuum stations, I’m happy with the service and the quality of the wash. Hopefully, the out-of-service vacuums get fixed soon because that would make this location much better. Overall, good car wash, friendly staff, great mat cleaning machine, and good service. Just needs a little maintenance on the vacuum area to make it a 5-star experience.

  Tommy’s Express Car Wash is truly one of the best! 🚗✨ Great concept, fast and convenient service, amazing technology, and most importantly, fantastic staff who are friendly and professional. They’ve definitely raised the bar for car washes! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  NEVER AGAIN! RIMS DAMAGED! Went for a vacuum, surprised it said "free vaacum" I still decided to get the mini kit for $6. Shortly after one of the workers came out to say its only for members...this should be posted by the vacuum...told me I had to purchase the membership (which is their car wash membership)..told me to go through the cashier drive line, which was the car wash. There is several other cheaper wash options but the worker told me the highest one. I asked for #1 for $15 he then suggested I go for #2 for $20. End up with all 4 of my rims scratched up with white irremovable stains, scrapes and abrasions. Told another worker, he stares at it and says "maybe you did it"...excuse me? After asking multiples times what the process is, asks for my insurance & license to file a claim. I didnt give it as I couldn't trust these people. Shortly after comes out with a tablet and asks me to get out of the vehicle so he can take pics of the rims. Tries to take a pic of the least scratched up rim. The manager I would assume comes and whispers something in his ear and walks off without even speaking to a customer whose vehicle just got damaged...the worker then asks for my postal code. Like what...so now I have to take my rims to a detailer and spend who knows how much 😭 bunch of scammers.

  I had such a wonderful experience at Tommy Car Wash! I want to give a special thank-you to the manager for the complimentary wash and professionalism! My mom is a monthly Tommy Car Wash member, and I can see why! I truly appreciated the kindness and generosity. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. It’s customer service like this that really makes a difference! After this experience, I’m happy to say I’ll be becoming a Tommy Car Wash member myself at the Detroit location. Thank you again for taking such great care of us and for making me feel so welcome! I highly recommend Tommy Car Wash!

  Service was okay. I feel like the entire budget was spent on making the wash area feel premium but nothing was spent on the vacuums. Zero suction and didn't clean ANYTHING. Tried cleaning my mats, but was told by the employee that if I wanted to wash my trunk liner then I should go to a coin operated car wash. If that's the case, why would I come here in the first place? Was my first time coming here and was absolutely disappointed. I wouldn't refer anyone to spend their time and money here
