- RMRich MosesJan 19, 20261.0Called because my transmission died. I was not informed that they dont offer rebuilds etc. 1. Charged $125 for a scan..they took it for a test drive even after I told them the trans was not functional. 2. Charged $211 to drop the pan and tell me there is metal in the pan ( a magnet test on a small sample of fluid would have told them that. 3. Informed the transmission was trashed....no kidding.. 4. Replace trans $4709.00.....nope. 5. Aaa picked the van up and dropped it at my house. 6. Came home opened the van and the engine cover is in the back of the van. I have a couple of questions... are your techs 1099 or w2/w4? You never informed me you only offer (based on this price) what must be factory rebuilds? You did inform me that the diagnostic fees are not applied toward repair/replacement so thats on me $365 to tell me what already knew.....the transmission was dead....pathetic. I have owned and flipped over 75 cars in the last 30 years and I Have Never seen a shop that operates in this manner. Not on either coast or the midwest.....wont make that mistake twice.....
