  Loved this store until the other day when I bought antifreeze that was already open, when I went to return it the older gentleman with a ponytail accused me of switching it out with water and refused to return it and I literally spent over 800 on parts over 2 days so yeah that was a slap in my face. Other than him the store is great but he seems very passive aggressive and literally walked off as I was talking to him. Will take my money elsewhere

  My car battery died on my way home from shopping. Luckily, I was close to Costco Brentwood so i bought the battery there. I didn’t know Costco does not install batteries in your car. I called a couple of places: O’Reilly Antioch said they don’t do it if it’s not an O’Reilly battery. Then Another Auto Zone doesn’t have anyone to install a battery until the next day in the afternoon. My last call was to Auto Zone in Oakley. Ethan answered the call & said “Sure, we can help you with that.” I asked if I could come right away and his answer was, “Yeah, come on over.” Ethan was just finishing up with a customer. When I told him that I called about installing a battery in my car. He went with me outside to asses what needed to be done & what tool he needed. He confidently said, “Oh, that’s simple.” He took the new battery from the trunk of my car then excused himself to get the tool he needed to do the job. He came out immediately. He worked quickly expertly & confidently in changing the old battery with the new one. He was done in less than 10 minutes. I really appreciate his skill, politeness & professionalism. Then when I asked how much I owed him, he said: “No charge!” That topped the cake! I highly recommend Auto Zone of Oakley in Main Street. Thumbs up to Ethan!

  The manager, Joe is simply amazing. He figured out what was wrong with my car battery and replaced it for me so quickly. He eased my stress and made my day. I appreciate him and would give him a higher Star rating than 5 if I could. Thank you Joe for the best customer service you provided. Helen Raoufian
