  Horrible service completely ruined my anniversary. The man that helped me was racist and didn’t even pay attention to me when the white men walked in to be helped. Most ridiculous experience ever. The best part of this is I went to Berkley enterprise and they gave me a car in 5 minutes. They specifically told me that I didn’t need to show any proof of residence or utility bill to release the car because I was indeed paying with a credit card although Tyrone Campbell at the Oakland enterprise said I had to have an insurance card, utility bill and proof of residency to rent a car. Interesting that as a black queer woman I was treated much differently then a the white me that came in to get help. I called corporate and am waiting to hear back.

  I just sent this note to Enterprise directly, and wanted to share here as well: The aspect that makes me keep coming back as a repeat customer: Enterprise employees are consistently polite, friendly and helpful. It's clearly a company value that is trained, and it's working. Nearly all staff actually seem to care about customer service, and put in extra effort to be sure I'm satisfied. But even more, the folks are just nice! In a world where that is harder and harder to find, Enterprise employees are a stand out. THANK YOU!

  Extremely disappointing experience with Enterprise. The staff was rude and unprofessional from the start. Despite having a confirmed reservation, I was refused a vehicle simply because I only had a debit card and not a credit card, something that should have been clearly communicated beforehand. What’s even worse is that no solution was offered. No alternatives, no attempt to help, no effort whatsoever, just a blunt refusal with a dismissive attitude. This shows a clear lack of professionalism, organization, and basic customer service. You would expect a company like Enterprise to at least try to accommodate customers instead of leaving them stranded. I strongly do not recommend this location.

  I rented a 15-person passenger van through this office to shuttle some friends of mine from out of town around for the weekend. Pickup on Friday went smooth thanks to the friendly staff, and the van was great. On Saturday night (in classic Oakland style) the catalytic converter was stolen. I had insurance, but was almost sure I wouldn’t get a comparable vehicle on such short notice for Sunday. When I brought the van in to exchange first thing Sunday, the staff were extremely understanding and helpful, but initially didn’t have another van to give me. However, the service rep, Ella, noticed another 15-passenger van was due to be returned that morning. She processed the return on that van super fast so that me and my friends could get back on the road. Thanks Broadway Enterprise, and especially Ella, for going above and beyond!
