Great park.
Really nice place.
My family went to the point a few weeks ago. The park is really a great place. You can see the huge Coast Guard Ships, A fantastic Row Team, Sail Boats, & More. It's clean, everybody was friendly. Bring the family so you can Appreciate what a very smart Person created for All of Us to enjoy! ✨✨🌸🌿🌴😎👍

So after the homeless encampment was removed. The place got a little cleaner. The grass in the Park was trimmed, making the place look a little more safer then it has been for the last 3 years. There are a few eye sores, in regards to vehicles owned by tenants, that could be mistaken as abandoned vehicles. And the random vehicles that are brought in at night, that are obviously stolen, and are slowly stripped in the parking lot. Are all completely ignored by Oakland City Management. As are the many stolen, abandoned, or dilapidated boats that have been anchored off the Union Point Marina for well over 8 months. By California Law, 72 HOURS, is the max time to anchor off. So without anyone patroling the parking lots at night when the rif raff role in. Tenants are losing their catalytic converters, windows out of their cars, belongings out of their cars. But Hey! These people are mentally ill and homeless! So let the hard working tax payers of the state, that are their victims, pay for the nice Hotel rooms, the Medical Expenses, the Food, and any damage or lose of the tax payers own property. Because we should all feel sorry for the mentally ill ( or not) that know how to work the system.
