  Customer service nonexistent. Waited an hour to drop my car off, only for the technician to help someone who had been there for 10 min, while continuously telling me to wait. No urgency in that entire office, Paul was the only one who was actually trying to help me understand what was going on as he saw I was clearly frustrated. Acura called me in for the recall anyway. I didn’t expect it to be the DMV in there! Not returning.

  Great experience with the service department at Oakland Acura. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently from start to finish. Jason was especially helpful — clear communication, honest recommendations, and made the whole process as smooth and stress-free as he possibly could. Highly recommend!

  had a great leasing experience with Oakland Acura. Amanda reached out to me quickly after I submitted an online inquiry. Very consistent with follow up and it was a very smooth process - she helped to find exactly what I was looking for, not trying to oversell any options or models, and the in-person experience went smoothly. I also had the opportunity to work with Ray to finalize everything — both Amanda and Ray were very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind throughout the process. Though this is not the closest Acura to me, I plan on returning for maintenance and other needs based on the sales experience. I’ll recommend them to family and friends, looking forward to returning!

  David at Acura Oakland was great to work with. This isn’t about him. For those who don’t know, Acura is Honda’s higher-end brand. That said, when I test drove the base 2025 ADX, it honestly felt as basic as they come for a higher price point. It felt like I was paying more just for the Acura logo, not for added value. I was shown a FWD ADX and understood it was FWD. My issue was the pricing. It was being sold at the same price as an AWD, which didn’t make sense. We originally discussed AWD pricing, so I tried to negotiate. When I brought this up, I was told the car was pulled from loaner status early “just for me” and that it was a take-it-or-leave-it deal. The attitude was dismissive, and there was no real conversation after that. While I was there, I called a Honda dealership I had visited earlier and made a deal over the phone. The Honda I purchased was red (my favorite color), had better gas mileage, more horsepower, better technology, and overall offered much more for the price. They also offered me 1.5% Apr. Both vehicles were loaners at Acura and Honda. After I left and was finalizing at Honda, Acura texted me offering to match the trade-in. At that point, I was done. Even with the same deal, I still would’ve chosen Honda based on the experience and car value. Outside of David, this felt like pressure and games. There are plenty of dealerships out there—shop around.
