  I got rear ended in my own vehicle, and my insurance covered a rental, through enterprise, while my car got fixed. Everything was great, honestly, from friendly and helpful customer service, to clear communication through the whole process. I was very disappointed, though, when I received the final bill for my fasttrack charges. Obviously, I was aware that bridge toll fees would be added to my rental, but to be charged a 50% "service charge" on top was simply outrageous. I'm guessing the fine print said something to warn me, but that detail was not stated clearly to me, from the representative, at the time I signed. If I had known it was that drastic of a charge, I would have taken the time to switch my fasttrack account to cover the license plate for the duration of my rental. Not cool guys…

  I had an outstanding experience at the Enterprise location at 3030 Broadway in Oakland. From the moment I walked in, they made the whole process incredibly easy, smooth, and genuinely pleasant. The employees were efficient without feeling rushed, explained everything clearly, and had me in and out faster than I expected—exactly what you want when you’re excited to get on the road. What really stood out was how friendly and attentive they were; it never felt transactional. I left feeling confident, prepared, and honestly energized—ready to head out on a fabulous road trip without any stress. If you’re renting from this location, you’re in great hands.

  I had a 12:00 PM vehicle reservation at this Enterprise location on 12/23/25 for a nonprofit holiday outreach delivering toiletries across Oakland. I received notice only two hours before pickup that there was an issue with my reservation, which left me no time to secure a vehicle from another rental company during the holiday rush. When I arrived at the location, staff members Ella and Brent did not provide the reserved vehicle and offered no effective solution. I was later contacted after 5:30 PM and asked to rush back and pick up a vehicle before the 6:00 PM closing time, which was impossible due to a tightly scheduled nonprofit operation. Because of this failure and late communication, our nonprofit was unable to complete our annual holiday distribution, which negatively impacted our reputation and could jeopardize future funding. I spent the entire day searching for a replacement vehicle during the holidays, unsuccessfully, and the staff was not helpful or accountable. This experience caused real harm to a community-based organization and the people we serve. I would not recommend this location, especially for time-sensitive or nonprofit needs.
