  After a mixup about which windshield was correct for our car, Safelite technician, José, came to our house and replaced our eGolf windshield without issue. (It has all the extra electronics to manage.) He called the morning of the appointment to let me know his timeline and then called again when he was on his way. He was friendly, efficient, and super helpful and now we have a beautiful, brand new windshield without cracks. Safelite partners with our insurance, which made the whole process straightforward and easy to schedule.

  Fast and easy resolution to my cracked windshield. They came to my house the next day and did the install and safety system calibration in my driveway. Technician was friendly and efficient. Very convenient and painless!

  Our 4 Runner’s windshield was cracked and we called Allstate and they recommended Safelite and we got a very nice offer from them to come home to do the replacement but due to the rain we choose to go to Oakland location! Every one was nice and the technician did a great job! We had to wait little longer then promised but they had a nice room and coffee and tea! We are very pleased with the new windshield! Thank you !

  Driving to Chico for a Teams meeting and ended up catching a rock chip on my windshield. Funny enough, I had just replaced this windshield about a year ago, so my luck with windshields clearly continues GEICO sent out Safelite mobile service (4238 Broadway, Oakland) , and Luis the tech came out to help. Really stand up guy, professional, honest, and transparent throughout the process. He explained the repair, including the risks and what to expect, which helped me make a decision. The repair came out great and the whole experience was smooth and easy. Definitely happy with the outcome.

  Very pleased with my service experience with Safelite. However, my online order did not provide me more information to select a heated windshield, and on installation day the technician showed up with a windshield that did not have the heater option. But, the Safelite technician ordered the correct windshield and the installation was scheduled and completed the very next day. Of course there was a $45 cost difference (more) for the heated option. I don’t know if I got the best price from Safelite because at that moment was too late to shop and compare with other quotes I had shopped and received. Nevertheless, Im happy that Safeway acted quickly to order the correct windshield and installed it the very next day. But I cannot rate 5 stars because of the ordering hiccup.
