  a grueling test in patience which will find you waiting two hours for a rental you booked months in advance. if you know when my flight is and already took my money you should probably be ready to uphold your end of the bargain when i pull up. that’s the whole premise of the business and they still get it wrong somehow

  Great rental from National for our little road trip. The woman that was running the executive checkout what very nice and helpful. We had booked a full size but they were out. The SUVs weren’t going to work for us as we needed a trunk to stash our suitcases from view due to the nature of our road trip. She got us into a nice Mercedes. Loved the car, but a little tight for 4 people. If it was just my wife or daughter, the car would have been amazing. Returning the car was nice and easy.

  Rented a car from National at Halifax - YHZ for an East coast trip from Halifax to Charlottetown in summer of 2025. As an Emerald Club member, was able to go straight to the garage and get upgraded from an Intermediate (Chevy Malibu or Similar) to a Mercedes Benz GLA 250. Overall very smooth and professional experience! Would highly recommend National Car Rental always.

  Asked for any other car than the one they were giving me they wouldn’t. I’m even Executive status, wasn’t able to pick my car like usual and was given the complete opposite of what I wanted. Very disappointing with how frequent I rent vehicles.
