My motorhome was at the service center in Dartmouth, N.S for 2 weeks to be diagnosed and repaired. I was first notified that the onboard generator would have to be removed from the motorhome to be repaired at a cost of approx. $2,700 (Parts & Labor) and 3-5 days for parts to arrive (No problem.) I then received call to let me know that the repair in fact did not fix my generator and that it would require another $1,300 part (circuit board) for it to work properly. Please be mindful that if they had diagnosed and replaced the circuit board to begin with, they would not have had to remove the generator from the RV at all. So, after $4,260 to repair my generator (I believe was originally misdiagnosed the first time, more than doubling the repair cost), they crashed my RV into another vehicle that was parked outside of the bay door when pulling my RV out of the shop. My RV was then parked there for another 2 weeks, waiting for Emma (Service Manager) to get back to me to let me know next steps from the insurance company. I had to follow up twice, but never received a call from Emma, it was me doing the follow up. Until I had to get my insurance company involved to move the process along. To say, I feel like I was slighted by this business in many ways and left to fend for myself with minimal to no communication from them unless I initiated it, would be an understatement. Incredibly disappointed with the service and lack of communication. Not to mention when I paid my $4,260 invoice and took my RV home (which will be out of commission for the entire summer due to them to crashing it and smashing a hole right through the bunk), Emma did not even have enough respect to come out to the counter and apologize to me and thank me for my business, even though she was sitting in her office. She sent someone else out to provide the bill and take my payment, despite the fact she had been my main point of contact throughout this atrocious experience. Never again!
