- MMMelanie MartinezAug 15, 20255.0I came to autozone to see if they can test my battery but realized the corrosion on my battery was too bad and I would need a new battery. A Gentlemen tried to come and test my battery, but because it was too corroded, he couldn't. Another worker came and tried to see if he can loosen the bolt, but that failed. I called AAA and he was not much of a help and told me that the bolt needed to be cut off and that they could not do it. Another worker came out and was very determined to loosen the bolt. He took a lot of time and pride, and he was very polite. I am not sure how long that Roberto R was tinkering with the corroded bolt on the battery, but he was determined to get it off. Near the end the second co-worker that came to help earlier was out there getting a few things that Roberto needed so that the battery can become loose from the terminal. About 30 seconds before my dad showed up Roberto got the battery out of my car. Roberto and his co worker did the happy dance. We were all excited. It was a lot of work. And at that time, I had been outside in the sun for 3. Roberto asked if I had water, and I told him yes, he wanted to make sure that I was hydrated. I thought that was very nice of him to ask because he said there's cold water in the store if I needed some. After Roberto took my battery out, I bought the new battery and i'm not sure how I got a discount, but he used some type of discount for me because of all the run around and because I was out there for so long. Roberto did not want to take the $20 from my dad as a gesture of thank you for helping with my vehicle. Instead, he asked for this toy car and we bought that for him. Roberto R was very kind, knowledgeable, professional, and skillful. Thank you Roberto you were my hero today.

So maybe instead of judging them be more considerate and patient
