  I had a water pump replaced on my 2019 BMW X3, and only 3 weeks later the car had another issue in the same cooling system area. The shop charged me $2,100 for a “water pump housing” repair with no adjustment or accountability for the recent work done. This feels like incomplete repair planning or at minimum poor communication, since these components are related and commonly addressed together. Being charged full price twice within weeks for work in the same area is frustrating and not what I expected. I would recommend others ask detailed questions about what is and isn’t being replaced during cooling system repairs.

  Efficient service and a helpful team of people behind it. Mountain View gained a loyal customer today. We ended up with a flat tire on the way to Palmdale, and they were the the nearest auto-shop nearby. The gentleman there gave us a great price for two replacement tires, rotation, and warranty. He didn't throw any other bargains or sales pitch at us that didn't have anything to do with the main issue like other auto shops usually do. Definitely will recommend friends and family should they find themselves in need of Auto-Repair. Only fair and understandable complaint I have would be for the (male) mechanic to not slam the doors or trunk so hard that the sound echoes throughout the entire parking lot. It's still someone's property after all. But I wont hold it against the store. Just a fair bit of "customer service" advice.

  I brought my pick up truck in due to a squeaking noise from the rear. Wasn’t sure what it was but figured it had to be related to the suspension. Was quoted $130 for an inspection to determine the issue. Was told that the driver side mounting bracket for the air bags had been disconnected and bent out of shape. The technician also mentioned there was some bolts and nuts missing from the bracket that were required to secure it. I was quoted $378 to have the repairs made (this included the $130 for inspection) and provide the missing hardware. After a few hours I picked up the vehicle and the following day I noticed the noise was not as loud but it was still there. I inspected the repair that was made and determined that the bracket had not been mounted properly since it was out of alignment and there was a bolt missing. I was quite frustrated and called the shop to let them know what I had found but had to leave a voicemail. It’s been 3 days and no one has bothered contacting me. I went ahead and fixed it myself. It’s pretty ridiculous paying $248 for probably 1.5 hour(s) of labor and the work not being done properly. This shop obviously has no quality control and I would not recommend you bring in your vehicle for anything more complicated than an oil change.
