This EVgo charger was a nightmare. I have been driving nothing but EVs for 5 years and have never seen anything so bad. While on a road trip, we plugged our new state of the art EV into this EVgo charger, which started briefly charging, then randomly stopped, then locked the charge cord onto the vehicle. After spending 3 hours on the phone w EVgo’s worthless ‘tech support’ call room no one could remove the cable or provide any advice. As day turned to night and gangster-filled vehicles started lingering nearby, we had no choice but to Uber to a safe place for the night, leaving the vehicle stuck to the charger, at risk of any damage that may come to it during the long night ahead. AVOID EVgo like the plague!!!
