- GMGreg MobergJan 11, 20265.0I got off work at 9pm and my car had problems cranking. I needed a new battery. I got to the Autozone on Highland Ave at 9:25 just to find it locked up and closed before its 10pm posted closing time. Then I went to the O'Reilly's on Plaza Blvd. I asked the associate if they installed batteries. He nodded, but I don't think he understood what I asked him, because after buying the battery, he REFUSED to put it in for me, even after seeing battery installation was advertised on their WEBSITE!!!! After demanding a refund, I went to the adjacent Autozone on Plaza blvd, 20 minutes before closing time, and Gabriel and Jorge couldn't have been more accommodating - I was on the verge of being stranded and they went above and beyond for me. They only had their most expensive battery left, but they were able to get it marked down for me and even beat the price at O'Reilly's by a decent margin. There are lots of dishonest and shady autoparts stores in this area of town, but I can guarantee you this Autozone in particular has an honest staff that genuinely cares about helping their customers!

He gave me the diagnostic check engine machine, I looked at him, and told him, "what's this?" do you have someone to connect this gadget to the car 🚙? He replied: we don't do that! Autozone has a policy for all workers, not to get into customers vehicles to install the gadget! I told him, I don't know how to do this. Can someone please help! He refused. And said: NO! I got upset, and gave it back to him, and said to him. you were no help at all. This autozone is horrible! I will not come to this autozone again. Waste my time.
