- JLjonathan leonMar 31, 20261.0Tried together smog and they seem to not know what they talking about. I asked them to check monitors before I paid. They stated they dont check the monitors because its "illegal" which is 100% incorrect. Its illegal to do repairs. Not to hook up scanner and confirm monitors passed. They are saying this to get you to pay upfront. If they perform the smog and monitor is not ready they will ask you to come back without any refund, they just say comeback in 100 miles. Went to another smog only place and they checked monitors, showed it was ready and performed smog 3 blocks down the street. This shop also confirm its normal for smog shops to check monitors first, or else its a waste of time to set up and stop since the smog machine will not continue without those monitors passing Its a joke and they fool people into their trap.

Once I finally got his attention he gave me major attitude said "well pull your car in and I can help you" without looking up from his phone to greet me or anything, Shrugged his shoulders like it wasn't his problem and laughed. Lost me as a customer, took my money to Moreno Valley Smog on Sunnymead instead.
