  Decent charging setup. 10 chargers. Most are 350kW, but 4 are 100kW.

  My wife and I drove up to the mountains to the town of Idyllwild, but we realized we didn't have enough charge to last us for the next two days. We decided to look for a charging station in town, but there weren't any to be found. There was one station—specifically for Teslas—but even that one was closed. It was baffling why there were virtually no electric vehicle charging stations anywhere within more than an hour's drive in any direction. Who knows? We ended up having to drive back over an hour just to reach a station where we could charge up. The charging stations were all available, and there wasn't a single person around. We charged up quickly and then drove back—another hour-plus journey. We were very pleased with the experience; our Tesla charged up extremely fast. We used a special adapter that we had purchased on Amazon, as our car isn't compatible with standard Tesla charging units. Right across the street, there is a large car wash; if you wish, you can take the opportunity to wash your car and clean out the interior while you wait. There is also a huge grocery store/supermarket right there, so you can grab something to eat or use the restroom while your car is charging.

  If you get here on the early side you won’t wait for a charger. The shorter stations are slower so be aware of that. It’s in the parking lot between Quick Quack Car Wash and WinCo Foods.

  The shorter ones were charging at 37KW the taller ones are over 100. Luckily one was available and I didn’t find it hard to find so I like this stop. I only gave one star off because of the first machine I tried was slow.
