I thought I had booked with American Tire so I showed up at 0725 for my 0730 appt. Another gentleman and I opened the door to American Tire but upon walking in we were abruptly and harshly told that they opened at 8. We were told to go outside and the doors were locked once we left. I told him I had a 0730 appt. He stated it was impossible because they opened at 0800. Anyway he was very abrupt and condensending. I went across the street where I had booked the appt. I was met by Chris who was both pleasant and helpful. I told him that my Tire was leaking air. My truck was taken into the bay area where they found the source of the problem. The Tire stem was replaced at no charge. It was a very good experience. Chris took his time explaining how the sensors work as well as the valve leakage. I have been going to Amerucan Tire for 10years. My last 2 visits with them have not gone smoothly. Tire choice may have a new customer!
