- GGG GJul 30, 20251.0Alamo customer service is horrible. Will never rent from them again because of this. Was double charged for my rental. Reached out via chat to Alamo and agent Frances told me I was refunded. I explained I had not yet received my refund and asked them to look into it. Just kept receiving short, unhelpful replies telling me it was refunded. I explained again, it has been 11 business days and I still have not received a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I expect since they double charged me that they should take care of the mistake they made but Frances told me I have to reach out to my credit card and if I want to speak to a manager that I have to call their 800 number. Complete lack of customer service. I should not have to spend my valuable time calling around to correct an error their company made. After an hour of my time on the phone with my credit card filing a dispute and now I have to fill out forms and upload supporting documentation. If Alamo cared about customers they would have apologized for inconveniencing me and worked to rectify the situation one of their team members created.
