When I arrived, an older staff who seemed senior refused to install it and referred me to the car shop next door. The service so far was acceptable, even if they gave the wrong promise. I thanked him and left, and after consideration, I made an online order. The two star is because when I came back to pick up the battery, I overheard him saying to his coworkers, “I knew it, she made an online order”. He was arrogant and made me feel uncomfortable. All the other staff were fine

For chains, he made sure to tell us how not to open it if we want to return it if we didn't need chains up in Tahoe. This kind of service makes me trust that they are trying to help versus make a buck (noticed buying chains on the way to Tahoe often had signs of "no refunds" on chains).

When I got there, the girl at the counter was extremely unprofessional, rude, and gave me false information, telling me they don't install batteries. She then went to another employee, and a guy from the back came out and said he would do it but would have to charge me personally since he was "off the clock." Completely unacceptable. I stepped outside and called another AutoZone, and that employee confirmed that they do install car batteries. He even contacted this location's manager, who supposedly told them to take care of it. When I walked back in, the same girl who denied the service didn't realize I was behind her, and I overheard her talking badly about me. Very unprofessional. They finally agreed to install the battery, but after 1.5 hours, the employee said he couldn't do it. I ended up leaving with a refund and no service done. This place tried to charge me for something they normally provide, wasted my time, and treated me with zero respect. I will never return to this AutoZone. Absolutely terrible experience.
