  Terrible Customer Service. They sell Defective Tires and will not care to tell you about it. Vic and Richard will not care. Never have I had such misinformation and horrible treatment from a company. I bought new tires back back in 2019. These were suppose to be new average lifespan of 6-8years. Initially I was informed they had less than a 3yr warranty on them for any issues that arrive. Expecting as a city driver at least the 6-8years without issues. They were fine initially but over the years had more wear and tear than it should. They would leak air and need more than average filling. They eventually let to problems with my ball bearings which started to cost money. Having past the 3yr warranty not much I could do aside from wait as they had tread on them and should be fine. Sadly they were not only old tires, but also defective. They got discontinued and apparently were then given a 5yr warranty. At no point did the company contact me to tell me this but they also didn't install the correct tires. As my tires were from 2017 and yet there records and mine state late 2018. So not only did they misinform and misguide, they either gave me incorrect tires or did not care to pay attention. When reached out about this I spoke to Vic and a Richard. Whom proceeded to give no help or anything. They gave excuses and said "It is what it is", for all the issues. Not caring about the customer, the issues, or anything. At no point did they take accountability or apologize. I am blown away by the sheer unprofessional by this company and have reported them to the better business bureau. I feel scammed out of not only warranty but my tires, and all the money I have to spend for fixes because of these tires creating issues with the bearings. I will never shop here again and will inform everyone I know how shady this place is and to not shop here. Terrible Customer Service and will treat the customer like garbage. Never tell your customer "Stop talking, there is nothing I am going to do about this anyway". No care at all. 0/10

  My car was towed by CAA to another business who had a 2 week wait just to look at my vehicle. Had my car towed again to Fountain after speaking to Alex who said they could get it in the same day and likely would be complete same day. I went to the store to drop off my key and spoke to Vikram who was very nice and personable. He explained how they would check to find the problem. Hours later, vehicle was done and it was only the alternator and not the batter as well. We has discussed that it could be both the battery and alternator and i was quoted for both. In the end, just the alternator and the price remained the same. I also agreed to an oil change as i was meaning to get one any way. The customer service was excellent from the first phone call to the time i picked up my vehicle and paid them. Always professional and courteous. No trying to swindle me into other things or that there was more wrong than initially discussed. I will return and i highly recomment this Fountain Tire location

  I’ve had two fantastic experiences at Fountain Tire (312 - Pembina). My journey with this shop started with a simple, complimentary tire pressure check, which led me to discover such a professional and friendly auto center right in my neighborhood. In February, I accidentally hit a concrete curb. After an inspection, it turned out I needed to replace an engine mount. Alex was incredible—he sourced the parts immediately and scheduled the replacement for the very next day. The turnaround time was impressively fast! My second visit was today for a tire rotation and balancing. I have Michelin CrossClimate 2 (CC2) tires, which I purchased and had installed at the dealership last October. Honestly, I used to be someone who relied exclusively on the dealer and rarely considered third-party shops. However, after my first positive experience here, I decided to trust them with my tire maintenance. I had been feeling dissatisfied with my CC2 tires for a while. I even went back to the dealer to have them adjusted; they claimed they fixed it, and while it improved slightly, I could still feel subtle vibrations coming from under the seat—especially on smooth highways. The dealer kept insisting, 'That’s just the characteristic of this tire; you’re going to feel some slight vibration.' I had almost convinced myself to just live with it. But after getting a balance at Fountain Tire today, I realized the dealer was wrong. This shop discovered that all four wheels were out of balance. They performed a full re-balance along with the rotation. I immediately took the car onto Highway 1 for a test drive, and that 'smooth-as-new' feeling is finally back! It’s honestly unbelievable. Even though my car is only two years old, I’ve already decided that when I get my next vehicle, I’ll be coming back here for all my tire needs. As a side note for everyone: I’d highly recommend staying away from the Kia dealer in the North End—save yourself the trouble!
