  I had a generally positive experience with Boyd during the repair of my vehicle, and the staff member who helped me throughout the repair process was very friendly, helpful, and took the time to explain things to me. Because of that experience, I had a very good impression of Boyd and had even spoken positively about the shop to others. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by how a recent issue regarding my rental vehicle insurance was handled. I purchased 10 days of MPI Rental Vehicle Insurance through Autopac for the Enterprise rental provided while my vehicle was being repaired. When I returned the rental after only three days, I specifically asked a Boyd staff member whether I needed to go back to Autopac to cancel the remaining insurance. I was told that I did not need to do so and that, because Boyd/Enterprise had communication with MPI, it would be handled. I relied on that information and did not cancel the policy myself. I later contacted MPI directly and was told that this was incorrect: the customer must personally arrange cancellation before the policy expires. As a result, I lost the refund for the unused portion of the policy. The amount involved was only about $30, so the money itself was not really my concern. I went back to Boyd mainly because I wanted them to be aware that customers should not be given this information in the future. Unfortunately, when I explained the situation to management, I did not feel that my concern was acknowledged. I was simply told that Autopac is separate from Boyd and that it was the customer’s responsibility to consult their insurance broker. I understand that Boyd does not control Autopac policies, and I accept that ultimately the customer has to cancel the insurance. However, my concern was that I specifically asked Boyd what I needed to do and relied on the information their staff provided. I would have appreciated a simple acknowledgment that the information was incorrect and that they would make sure staff provide the correct guidance in the future. I still appreciate the help I received during my vehicle repair, but I was disappointed with how this particular concern was handled.

  I had a great experience with Boyd Autobody & Glass. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. A special thank you to Mike, the manager, for keeping me informed throughout the repair process and making sure everything was handled properly. I also want to thank you Manmeet at the front desk for being incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful every time I called or visited. The repairs were completed with great attention to detail, and my car looks fantastic. Their customer service, communication, and professionalism really stood out.   Shout out to Boyd Autobody on Scurfield. Had to get my windshield fixed while visiting from out of town. Handled the out-of -province insurance and the repair quickly. Made it really easy for me and gave me back a very clean car. All much appreciated.

  I had a very weird experience today dealing with two different people just 5–10 minutes apart. The first person told me there were 2–3 available spots for tomorrow morning. Then, when I spoke to the second person, I was told there were no available morning spots at all—only afternoon appointments for a repair estimate. It was confusing to receive two completely different answers within minutes.
