I had my 2017 Chevy equinox repaired
With Boyd autobody . 5 star service and great customer service ,
when I first brought my car in , Mike was very helpful and informative on the autopac process. Everything was arranged and I had a rental car while my car was being repaired.
They arranged everything . I felt taken care of .
.Karen the manager was wonderful when I picked up my Car , she went through all the details. My car was nice and clean when I picked it up and looked great .
I highly recommend Boyd AUTO body to anyone needing their car repaired.
Great customer service with a smile 😊

I've been really disappointed with my recent experience here. The staff have all been really friendly and I have had several great experiences here in the past but after this last go round, I don't think I'll be back.
I was in an accident on June 1st and had my car assessed by Boyd right away. Then the told me I had to bring it in for another assessment and I was told this is standard practise. I found that odd but okay.. After the second assessment, they wanted to book me in but warned me that they will need my car for at least two weeks. This was a fairly minor fender bender so I was surprised by that timeline and asked if they had a courtesy car. They did but it was being used for a couple of weeks so I would have to wait. I said that was fine if it meant I could have a courtesy car, however, I called to check in after a number of weeks had passed and got the exact same explanation. "It's being used right now so you'll have to wait a couple of weeks". Then again a few weeks later, same exact thing. Finally I spoke to a different employee for the first time and got a call back a day later that they had a courtesy car and could get me in right away. It was September at this point.
I got my car back after only about a week which was great (probably could have avoided the courtesy car nonsense if I had known) After getting my car back, I wasn't thrilled with the work. It wasn't bad but it wasn't seamless as it had been in the past. There is also a new rattling sound coming from inside the car that wasn't there prior to the repair. I took it back and they said they would look at it. Well I've been back 4 or 5 times now (I've lost track) for the same thing and it's still happening. The first time they noticed that the carpet in the trunk hadn't been properly fastened back down (by them) so they fixed that thinking it might be part of the issue. Then I noticed that an interior panel was missing push rivets. I took it back in and went for a drive with one of the shop managers and showed her the noise, she could hear it. They put a push rivet in but she acknowledged she could still hear the rattle even has she pulled out of the shop. She said she would book me in and they would take it all apart and make sure it was all put back together properly. No phone call..I finally called back many weeks later and they had me bring it in again. I don't think it was taken apart but they said they tightened some things up and one of the managers said he took it for an extensive drive and couldn't hear anything. As soon as I picked up the car, it was still happening. I've now had at least 7 or 8 appointments just from a minor fender bender. I understand that this is a minor issue that some people would live with but it wasn't there before the repair and when I drive the car every day, I find it annoying. I shouldn't have to just live with it because it's minor.
To top it all off, one of the times that I was dropping the car off, one of the techs from the back was in the front reception area. He was threatening not to work until his schedule was changed because he didn't like his hours. It was pretty abrasive and a really unprofessional thing to witness.
I'm really disappointed to have to find a new body shop. I've been to this location a number of times and had great experiences but it doesn't seem to be what it once was.
