  Pleasant staff. However, they now charge you 3% if you use a credit card to pay for service. Lame. They advertise a free $15 Starbucks card with any paid service. Last time they said they would mail it to me. They never did, even after I called a month later. Same thing this time - we'll mail it to you. I'll update the review if they do but I'm not holding my breath. I'll probably just go to Jiffy Lube next time.

  RUN, DON'T WALK! Horrible experience! They were so rude, controlling and demeaning to me, and would NOT give me my own car keys back without forcing me to sign papers, that I did not understand but they said waived their liability. I had to call the police to get them to give me MY car keys, even after paying. They could not legally hold my car from me, yet they did. :( I was so shaken up by this, I could NOT believe they would treat someone like this. Such a power trip... The experince was so traumatizing that I now drive 45 minutes to get all my serivce, when I only ever used the Toytoa dealership the entire life of my car. NEVER AGAIN. This place is 5 minutes from me and I will NOT go back.

  Marina Del Rey Toyota always provides excellent and efficient service each time I take my vehicle in for service. Right on schedule each time, I’m greeted by a service assistant, often Moises, who begins the check-in process. A service advisor, recently Ivan, welcomes me and reviews the work to be done. He quickly advises the mechanics and technicians. The mechanics and technicians complete the work efficiently and correctly - on time. A very favorable experience for me each time.

  Had another great experience at Toyota MDR—this is my second Toyota, and I won’t be going anywhere else as long as Dolly Romero is there! Dolly is hands down the reason I keep coming back. Her professionalism, communication, and genuine care for customers make the whole service experience seamless and stress-free. If you’re looking for top-tier service, ask for Dolly—you won’t be disappointed.

  I already gave this dealership a 1 star review on my post service survey. I know this is more impactful and gets them scrutiny from the manufacturer. However, I wanted to share my subpar experience here too. I took my car in for service. It was an average to below average experience. It took hours for a basic 30,000 mile serie with no updates from the service advisor. Fine. I probably noticed because I waited at the dealership this time. Also, they offered to wash it and then didn’t. Next is the appointment to fix a recall on my RAV4. First appointment I scheduled they moved because they didn’t have enough workers that day. IMO opinion it’s ridiculous to not have enough service workers on a Saturday. So I reschedule. Now I get a call the day before that they don’t have the part and they don’t know when they’re going to get it. The female advisor was incredibly rude and defensive. No customer service attitude at all. She hung up on me after I criticized the operation. The GM needs to take a serious look at how he runs this place. The service department and customer service suck.
