Toyota brand TrueStar batteries advertise an 84 month warranty, but the actual full replacement period is only 24 months. After that, the warranty is 50 percent prorated, and the parts and labor costs are unreasonably high.
In my case, using the prorated warranty still cost about 260 dollars, while I could buy a brand new high quality battery for around 130 dollars at Costco.
The 84 month warranty is mostly a tactic to bring you back to the dealership, where you end up wasting hours and paying more than the cost of a new battery.
Save your time and money. Buy your battery from Costco, Walmart, or AutoZone instead.

I had a fantastic experience buying a used Toyota from Marina del Rey Toyota right before New Years. Their team was helpful at expediting every step of the process. Khaled Achaibou was super professional and easy to work with. He made the negotiation portion as painless as possible and really worked with me to find a price everyone was happy with. The Sales Manager, Alex Siccardi, was able to give me a better loan rate than the third party, credit union, offer I had been pre-approved for. I would easily recommend them to my family and friends!

Sold me a suv with contaminated brakes and they did not want to change out the front pads and rotors, but instead they grinded down on my brake pads and resurface my rotor with just under 15k miles? I felt with all the inconvenience traveling back-and-forth.(46miles) they should have just replaced the front pads and rotors completely instead of cutting corners.

Marina Del Rey Toyota treated me and my son very good. To be honest I thought I would leave from there with having no chance at getting a vehicle and was I wrong. They had patience and worked with me. They explained everything in detail and offer me plenty of options. They found me the best option to fit my needs and I couldn't be more thankful for them. I’m so happy I stopped in that Saturday 12/6, just to see my options and look I left with a nice Camry that me and my son LOVE. Thank you guys so much!

Only go to this dealership if you want to pay thousands of dollars extra for useless add-ons. After an hour of clearly stating that I don’t want add-ons and the price I’m looking for, they started saying they won’t even sell me the car without getting at least a couple of the add ons. Find a dealer which has more inventory and volume where they don’t try to milk your pocket (with “mandatory” add-ons) for something that shouldn’t be a complicated transaction. Even if you don’t want to sell it without the add-ons, just clearly state so and don’t dance around with the customer and waste everyone’s time. I want to also add that the way we were talked to (by Nader who is the ‘closer’ specifically) was demeaning and like we don’t know any better. 100% not recommended, these guys are not professional. I was able to get the deal I wanted elsewhere in about 30 minutes.
