  Literally have had nothing but great experiences with this National location. The staff reach time has been helpful in person and via text. In person I couldn't find where the trucks were and a gentleman walked me all the way to the other side where they were, lol. Explained to me how it worked in general during my first visit (never rented a car before) which definitely he didn't have to do. I have had my trips extended multiple times and just via simple texts, this team gets on it to make sure my account extends the reservation. LAX is a daunting task, but at least I can rely on National to not be a hassle. The cats at the laboratory approved this truck and this message 😂

  I rented from LAX in March and Cecilia was such a pleasure to work with. She is so friendly, informative and a breath of fresh air after a long flight. I experienced a flat tire and brought my GLE back to swap for another and she made that process easy and even thanked me for my Executive Elite status. Please give her something for her customer service and she impacted my day so well. I hope to see her again this summer when I visit.

  I found using the new LAX car rental facility to be a bit overwhelming due to its sheer enormous size in preparation for the 2028 Summer Olympics (LA28). I have traveled the US, EU and Asia and have rented cars from large facilities, but, LAX takes facilities to a new level. Plan on it taking a bit more time to get in and out of this facility. Specific to National upon arrival we found full-size cars running thin to non-existent. We did find a BMW M3 Hybrid SUV that made up for the lack of cars. It did take us two or more days to get the hang of this vehicles full-features. Overall, a very pleasant experience as always with National. National Rental Car has been my favorite rental car provider since 1979 and with good reasons.

  I was very disappointed at first but the team at Burbank did an awesome job taking care of me. I had booked a mid size SUV as I need room for my wife's wheelchair and electric scooter for our recent trip to CA to visit family. Upon arriving to LAX all they had left was compact SUV and I was told "sorry its a busy weekend with coachella that's all we have. If you want anything bigger you will have to pay for a premium upgrade." Needless to say we stuck with the compact SUV which made for a miserable week, barely squeezing what we had into the car, at times we had to leave things behind. When I returned the car at Burbank the team there was totally different, asking me how things were. I didnt plan on complaining but he just asked. The associate immediately took me to his boss who was also super nice to me. He told me how sorry he was for the inconvenience and comped my bill to where I felt they did the right thing. Everything the Burbank airport team did felt like they were happy to take care of me and did not make me feel guilty, thank you!

  I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my lost item by this location. Shortly after returning my rental vehicle, I realized I had accidentally left a small black makeup bag inside the front passenger compartment. I immediately filed a claim and attempted to call multiple times, but was unable to reach anyone or get any real assistance. The only progress made was when my husband physically went to the location the following day. He was given the contact information for Efren Gonzalez, who did eventually send one email stating that nothing had been found. I can say with complete certainty that the item was left in the vehicle at the time of return. We were then told that the car had been rented again and would be returned on April 2nd, which led me to expect a proper follow-up and re-check. However, despite multiple emails and continued attempts to get an update, I received absolutely no response. It is extremely concerning and frustrating to be told that neither the renters nor the cleaning team found anything, when I know for a fact the item was left in the car. The lack of accountability, communication, and basic customer service is unacceptable. On top of that, calling the location is nearly impossible—you cannot get directly connected to the branch, which makes resolving issues like this even more difficult. Please be aware: if you accidentally leave something valuable in one of their vehicles, do not expect timely help or reliable follow-up. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing
