I do not recommend renting from Enterprise. My recent experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. There was a miscommunication with my reservation, and the employee I spoke with made no meaningful effort to assist in resolving the issue. As a result, we were nearly left stranded at the airport. What is most concerning is that the employee provided inaccurate information to their manager regarding what had been communicated to us. This lack of accountability and customer support is unacceptable. Fortunately, I was able to resolve the situation on my own, but the experience has left a lasting negative impression. I will not be using this company again and would advise others to consider alternative options.

Absolute chaos. I booked a “Large Luxury SUV” like a X7, Range or GLS. An employee named Ocean could not have been less helpful or more standoffish. She told me they’re very limited on inventory, and she offered me a Corvette or a Lamborghini. How is that a large luxury SUV? I had hundred of miles to drive with two passengers, what a ridiculous suggestion from her. I asked her what vehicles she had available on the lot, and she just kept asking me what I was looking for. Again, a large luxury SUV. Ocean is likely the most aggressively unhelpful person I’ve ever talked to at a car rental company. She offered no solutions, only deflections. Upon getting to the garage, it took almost 45 minutes for someone to find me a vehicle to drive. Ultimately I was given a brand new Mercedes GLS. The rest of the trip was easy and the return process was seamless. What could’ve been a five star review was dragged all the way down to two stars because of Ocean. Woof. 👎🏻👎🏻

I’ve always had great experiences with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which is why I continue to choose them whenever I travel. Their customer service has consistently been excellent.. until this recent experience at LAX. I arrived excited to start my trip in LA, but my interaction with TJ completely changed the tone. When he approached me to assign my vehicle, I politely asked if there were any upgrade options available. His response felt noticeably irritated, as though my question was an inconvenience. The interaction was uncomfortable and unexpected, especially given the high standard of service I’ve come to expect from Enterprise. Rather than escalate the situation on the spot, I accepted the car and later arranged to switch it at another location. This experience was disappointing and honestly surprising, as it didn’t reflect the professionalism I’ve consistently received from Enterprise in the past. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps maintain the level of customer service that has always set your brand apart.

horrible. said they rented to 21 year olds. called to double check about the debit card situation and was told i could use a debit card for the model of car we booked. flew all the way there and was then told that’s not true and we need to be 25 to use a debit card? was then told that they have no history of me calling. when i pulled up the call log to show them proof that i called they said “well you probably spoke to the new girl she didn’t know”. how would that be my fault? i called for information and was given incorrect answers. refused to rent to us and left us with a huge issue after flying across the country. everyone was very rude and unhelpful as if it was my fault even though i called them to clarify. found another place much better last minute that was able to help us out. would never try renting here again as they clearly don’t know their own protocols.

ZERO STARS — if that was actually an option Updating my review because somehow this nightmare kept getting worse. So let’s talk about Enterprise Rent-A-Car at LAX… because this place doesn’t just drop the ball — they light it on fire and pretend it never existed. Thinking about renting here? Don’t. Seriously. Save yourself the headache. I rented a car for a week. Total bill? $708.18. Simple, right? Nope. The second I returned the car — spotless, full tank, no issues — I get slammed with a charge for $1160.18. Almost $500 extra. Customer service’s explanation? Oh, just a “hold over.” You know… the kind that supposedly happens when you pick up a car — not when you return it in perfect condition. But sure, let’s pretend that makes sense. They told me it was “pending” and would fall off. Cool. Except then they charged me $708.18 THREE MORE TIMES. Yeah… let me do their math for them since they clearly can’t: $3,284.72 total charged. And their explanation? “Those are all pending hold overs.” Funny how all those “pending” charges magically fully processed and cleared my account. After nearly 10 calls between customer service, the branch, and billing, here’s what I got: • Lies • Contradictions • “Those charges don’t exist” (they absolutely do) • “A manager will call you back” (they absolutely won’t) At one point, it got so bad that my bank told me to cancel my card due to suspected fraud. Let that sink in. A major bank looked at this situation and said, “Yeah… something’s not right here.” I have: • Bank statements • Call logs • Emails • Texts • Official bank letters Everything documented. And what does Enterprise do when presented with actual proof? They start ignoring me. No resolution. No accountability. Just silence. And let’s not forget — they specifically didn’t want me sharing this publicly. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. So here we are. If you enjoy: • Being overcharged thousands of dollars • Getting lied to repeatedly • Chasing down nonexistent “management” • And possibly dealing with fraud investigations Then by all means, rent here. Otherwise? Go literally anywhere else. Oh — and I’m sure there’ll be some generic copy-paste response from Enterprise saying they “want to help.” They don’t. They already have all my information. If they actually cared, they would’ve fixed it.
