Zero if I could. Parked to shop and upon leaving, the clerk (who said his name was "Phill") told me he couldn't process my payment - despite having just shopped - and stared at me creepily while saying there was "nothing he could do" in a very proud and smug way. It creeped my Mom and I out. I saw a tech support number for processing, and asked if we should call. He didn't break eye contact and kept smiling and saying no. I offered cash ($10 out of $18 owed, all we had) and he just didn't blink and said no. I asked for a manager, he said he was the manager very calmly and again was very proud to shoot down My efforts to produce a resolution. My Mom and I were insanely uncomfortable, there was something incredibly odd about this man. It was as if he was trying to proposition us for *another way to pay*.
I offered my DL info and kept offering other solutions. He just proudly shot them down and calmly and smugly said, "I don't know. There's nothing we can do." We were at a loss.
Eventually, he said he'd take the cash and would "get the key card" to let me out....meaning he had a solution the ENTIRE TIME and was trying to intimidate us. My Mom and I are trying to find out how else we can report this incident. DO NOT GO, NOT FOR EVEN A DROP OFF.
NOTE RE PAYMENT & POLICY
Card only, if tech issues with their crappy machine they won't even try to call tech support. The machine doesn't even have an option for cash, so he likely pocketed it. They only let you park for one hour with validation, after that it's an all day charge. Meaning the moment you enter you must park, walk, shop, check out, validate, pack, and exit all under sixty minutes else it's an all day charge of $18 card only with a machine that sucks and a jerk that will harass you.
