    I had a very frustrating experience at Jiffy Lube – 3061 Overland Ave, Los Angeles and feel compelled to share this so others don’t face the same issue. I purchased $500 worth of Jiffy Lube gift cards from Costco and was repeatedly asked to come back to this location three days in a row because they could not process them. Day 1: I was told the gift cards were not activated. I then had to go back to Costco, where they called customer service and confirmed the cards were fully activated. Day 2: The staff again tried to process the cards and got the same error. They called Jiffy Lube customer service and told me their system needed an update. After updating, it still did not work. The store manager kept my $500 worth of gift cards and told me to come back the next day after he personally called me. Day 3: The manager never called. When I called the store, I was told they were “out,” even though the store was clearly open. I rushed to the location, saw staff inside, had to retrieve my gift cards myself, and left. This was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable—especially considering they were holding my money. To confirm whether the issue was really with the gift cards, I went to Jiffy Lube – 2344 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica the same day. They completed the service without any issues, all gift cards worked perfectly, and the same service was significantly cheaper than what Overland Ave quoted. This experience was a huge waste of time, caused unnecessary stress, and showed very poor management and communication. I would strongly advise avoiding the 3061 Overland Ave location, especially if you plan to use gift cards. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision

    Bad customer service, they did not know how to process the gift card. The manager attitude was very rude. I had to call the help desk to get the gift cards processed.

    I've been getting my oil changed here for years, had an issue with vavoline on national when I went for a late oil change (jiffy was closed) and they completely stripped my oil plug. I called Jiffy Lube the next morning after vavoline blamed them for the incident and talked to John Lopez, the GM. He told me to come in and helped me fix the problem, he and his entire team are amazing! Thank you all so very much!
