  Great experience running from Enterprise multiple times. This last time was especially good. My car broke down far from the shop I was at. I had to rent a car far from the shop. There was a local Enterprise and they allowed me to drop off the car at no charge at the local one rather than the one I rented from. That's called service. Then they offered to drive me to the shop. And the rate was as good as all the rest. Highly recommended.

  I had a reservation here weeks in advance and despite confirming my reservation on the phone two days prior and checking in online 24 hours in advance, Enterprise didn’t have any cars to rent. I was surprised that they did not call me earlier in the day to let me know about this so I could make alternate plans before other rental car lots closed. I asked them to cover the difference at a competitor, and they told me no. I asked them to call LAX to see if they have a car, and they said they were unable to do so and I would have to go to LAX in person to ask. I had to cancel my vacation due to this, which is not the end of the world of course, but it was a bummer for me. I was very put off by how Enterprise employees kept placing blame on customers instead of recognizing that they are in the business of renting cars without reliably having cars to rent. One person told me, with a straight face, that the AWD SUV that I wanted to rent is a very in demand vehicle. Which is true! But that is why I made a reservation with them, assuming it was in good faith. Ultimately, I hold no ill will against the employees of this corporation - it seems like they were doing their best to mitigate a predictable car shortage due to cost saving, bare bones operations put in place by executives. I still won’t be renting from them again, but I hope they found the single car they seem to share across all Enterprise lots in the city.
