I read reviews before making my reservation, and although I was a little apprehensive, I decided to go ahead and book it. We can't always let reviews dictate our decisions, because in my case, we had an excellent experience in every aspect. I was a few minutes late checking out, and Joy was very kind to us, allowing us to leave a little later without any extra charge. The first person who assisted us at check-in was also very friendly.

This place is a complete joke and an outright scam. Priceless / NexCard near LAX is hands down one of the most dishonest, disorganized rental companies I’ve ever dealt with.
The moment I walked in, it was chaos. Literally 6 out of 7 customers were having serious problems — arguing about hidden fees, insurance lies, and vehicle downgrades. That’s not bad luck, that’s a pattern.
First major red flag: they FORCE you to write FOUR reviews on Google and Yelp before they even release the car. That is insane and explains why their ratings are fake. Any company that has to force reviews is clearly hiding how bad they actually are.
Then the money games start. At the counter, they slapped on an extra $50 fee that was never properly disclosed. Their so-called “full coverage insurance” is complete bullshit. Even after paying for it, they STILL demanded my personal insurance. So what exactly am I paying for? Nothing. Just another cash grab.
I booked a large SUV (Ford Expedition or similar) and they tried giving me a smaller Dodge Durango for the same price, no discount, no apology, no accountability. Classic bait-and-switch tactics.
And let’s talk about the car itself — absolutely disgusting. Dirty on the outside, dirty on the inside, clearly not cleaned or inspected. For a rental company at a major international airport, this is beyond unacceptable.
On top of everything, this company doesn’t even know its own rules. Their call center and front-desk staff give completely different answers. On the phone, they told me I needed a passport, then I show up and suddenly I don’t need one. Total incompetence. No communication. No professionalism.
At the counter, they aggressively push insurance and upsells, making you feel pressured and trapped while prices magically change. They take advantage of tired travelers who just landed and want to leave the airport.
This entire operation is misleading, predatory, and poorly run. Between forced fake reviews, hidden fees, fake insurance, downgraded vehicles, filthy cars, and clueless staff — this company should not be allowed to operate the way it does.
Something seriously needs to be done about places like this. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from Priceless at LAX unless you want stress, wasted time, and your money stolen.

I had a great experience with this rental car company from start to finish. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and ready on time, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The pricing was fair and there were no surprises, which I really appreciated.
I especially want to highlight David, who was a great representative and incredibly helpful. What is the security deposit policy?
The security deposit is the amount collected in addition to the total rental amount on the rental agreement. The renter is required to pay an additional $200 - $1,000 deposit for every rental every time. This security deposit cannot be used toward the rental.
The security deposit is returned to the renter's credit card when the rental car is returned after deducting any additional charges and incidentals. It takes 5-7 business days (depending on the bank) for the funds to appear as a credit on the credit card on file which was used to pay for the rental.
Security deposits can be used toward the incidentals that are determined at the time of the return for example:
- Late return fee
- Discrepancy in fuel returned
- After-hours drop-off charges
- Deductible on insurance
What is the debit card policy?
Debit cards are accepted only from renters having a valid boarding pass and return airline ticket that matches the rental dates. There is a one-time non-refundable fee of $75 assessed at the time of the rental.
Renters can only rent 4-door sedans on debit cards. The security deposit will be $500 up to $1,000 depending on the length of the rental and class of the car. It usually takes up to 15 days for refunds.
Are there any age restrictions on driving?
- We do not rent cars to any driver under the age of 21 years
- Drivers under the age of 25 (considered underage) are charged a fee of $25/day (underage fee)
- Underage drivers should always be in possession of full coverage insurance and major credit cards
- Debit cards are not accepted from underage drivers
- Declaration page of insurance must be submitted in advance
