  My first visit was yesterday for an oil change. I was so impressed wtih the entire staff! And loved seeing women working their which were very knowledgeable about cars! I will be back for sure!!

  I can’t recommend this place enough. They’re always quick and very communicative and aren’t pushy with trying to do more than an oil change. Also as a woman it’s awesome to see other women working there! I’ll continue to go here forever lol

  I’ve always used Jiffy Lube for service, but I’m so glad I made the switch to Valvoline in Long Beach. Delia, Matthew, and Nick were fantastic—extremely helpful, professional, and efficient. They took excellent care of my vehicle and made the entire process easy. I highly recommend this team for oil changes, tire rotations, and general vehicle servicing.

  I routinely service my car between the Kia Cerritos dealership and my local Valvoline, and Valvoline has consistently earned my preference. The difference in customer service, efficiency, communication, and overall trust is night and day. While it’s nearly impossible to reach a service advisor at Kia, my Valvoline in Long Beach is a quick two-minute drive and always provides clear, face-to-face communication with a friendly, professional team. I’m cautious when it comes to trusting sales-driven auto services, but my confidence in Valvoline comes from their transparency and ethics—especially Manager Francisco and his team (Hector, Delia, and Juan). I appreciate being able to see how they work, how they respect my vehicle, and the attention to detail they bring to every service. During my most recent visit, I had an oil change and my first radiator fluid replacement since purchasing my car in 2020 (30-40 minute service time from arrival and waiting in line to completion). Recently, I was unexpectedly laid off due to a company restructuring, so I was understandably nervous about service costs. Without knowing my situation, Francisco took the time to review my car’s service history, explain its current condition, outline what was urgent versus what could wait, and walk me through itemized costs—no pressure, no upsell tactics. His approach was knowledgeable, honest, and customer-first. Having spent over 15 years in talent acquisition and HR, I strongly believe team culture drives business success. Seeing how Francisco leads and supports his team was refreshing and reinforced why I trust this location. Valvoline has earned my loyalty, and I’ll continue to rely on them as my go-to auto service provider. I wish they did brake pads!

  Highly communicative, efficient, and informative without being pushy. I’ve adopted the philosophy of always say “yes” when the Valvoline rep suggests a service for any of my vehicles, knowing that it’s necessary, fairly priced, and never, ever, an attempt to squeeze a few more dollars out of me. In fact, they’ve probably talked me out of more services that I’ve thought were needed but they informed me otherwise. My vehicles, my wallet, and my family have all greatly benefitted from this philosophy.
