    I like this store so ver all works well for me over years and I also find out they recycle old batteries for $10 store credit, which is way better rate than recycle centers can offer around.

    I needed help getting my battery returned from Costco Lodi and needed proof that my battery was no longer working despite the fact that Costco tested it and said it was charged and no cells were damaged. Earlier in the day, I had to have my truck jump started three times and I was getting fed up. My Costco warranty was going to be over by the end of the month- but Costco had implemented a new policy a week ago saying that batteries cannot be returned before the warranty if they are not defective. (Which I don’t understand when Costco accepts returns for $800 10 year old mattresses with stains on them, yet I can’t exchange a $100 battery) I was advised by a Costco employee to take it to a third party in order to get confirmation that the battery was not able to charge which is why I came to this Auto Zone. The associate who assisted me is named Sylvia and she’s amazing! She guided me with getting what I needed to go back to Costco and get my battery exchanged. Without her help, I would have been SOL and would have had to purchase a new battery. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle that I was almost not able to return a product within the warranty period right before the policy had changed when that policy wasn’t even in effect when I initially purchased the battery. So thank you, Sylvia, for saving my day!
